I have studied time evaluation without clock times. I am thinking of using it for a quota entitlement generation. However, in the standard schema TM04 I cannot find everything I need. I need to set Quota type selection rule groups depending on the various criteria, namely on the number of children, the age of children, the contract type, the challenge group and the other country- specific infotypes. In this shema, I need specifically a function QUOTA. It by default uses QUOMO feature. Quomo feature does not allow to make a decision on all infotype fields I need. So a simple solution to a problem is to modify the QUOMO feature. But I guess I will make a lot of problems with that because it is a standard feature of SAP. Is this right?
I was also investigated of making QUOTA function referencing my own feature instead of QUOMO, but I have discovered that it would be too risky to modify a code of this function since I would not really understand what I am doing with the ABAP code.
But I see the recommendations to use my own PCR. After reading the needed infotypes, I can set MODIF Q=XX. So my question is how can I read any infotype I want with the PCR? Is it possible? Where can I find a descriptions of operations I need without knowing their names? Can I make my own operation to use it in PCR?
I have not come across a good piece of literature or reference of how to do it. I did found some commonly used operations in PCR for Time. However, there were no operations I really needed.
