You can set up BOM for the KIT with the components that go into making the KIT. In S&OP you can do BOM explosion and see dependent and independent demand and total requirements kfs.. Refer to the planning views Key Material Requirements in S&OP Demo system for how this works and the configuration in planning area SAPMODEL1 for KF CMPDEPENDENTDEMANDQTY
