Hi Martin,
The version conflict arised because i had made multiple changes and activation to mapping object in Dev which led version number to reach from Version 5(upto which QA is in synch) to Version 12. When i transported mapping object it was Version 12 which got transported and not the others as it only transports the latest version, where as QA was expecting Version 6.
Due to above it gave version conflict in QA so when i selected "Displayed Conflicting version" it displayed the version which i had transported and wanted to be active so I selected "Select Displayed Version" and unfortunately after that I came to know that I did not had access to activate and also since it was transport change list which got transfered to my change list so it could not even be transfered to other user who had authorisation to activate.
