Function module to export an ABAP list to excel sheet in the background.

Hello Experts,

Is there a Function module to export an ABAP list to excel sheet in the background.

I have an ABAP LISgT of about 1000 records in zprogram . When i run this program in the backround the list should be exported to the excel sheet .

I tried using GUI_DOWNLOAD. But this FM is not supported in the background .

Please help as soon as possible
