How to persist data locally to use in multiple views

Hello Experts,

Please advice the best way to persist data locally to use in multiple views. We have seen the usage of Javascript Global Variable or SAPUI5 core to achieve it to some extent, but is there any api available in SAPUI5 via which we can pass a data set to different views? Small code snippet regarding that would be a great help.
