Arul, it sounds like when you preview in studio you are using your personal credentials and when you are hitting via ODATA you are using SYSTEM. Most likely SYSTEM user has an analytic privilege called _SYS_BI_CP_ALL which essentially allows access to ALL data and will override any other analytic privileges.
