Understand one point clearly if you are making changes to the applications and creating a custom one for example Z personnel profile so this you can assign this Z configuration to the application in the LPD_CUST transaction in the application related parameters section.Also in creating Z configuration the important part is assigning them correctly so here ZHRESS_CC_MENU_OVP where you have assigned like if you are copying HRESS_AC_PERSINFO to ZHRESS_AC_PERSINFO you will be assigning the same in LPD_CUST role as shown below,
But here in the case of role this is the origin point so here don't make a copy of the HRESS_CC_MENU_AREA_GROUP instead assign the custom role here directly.For changing this it would ask for access key which you can get from the service marketplace with the help of Basis consultant.
