Create new custom period control

Hello Everyone,

I am trying to create a new period control to get the start date of 2 years from the date asset is first posted / first acq on date.

When i am creating new period control i am not able to find config or table where we can customize the logic which gives me a date or asset value date + 2 years, is it possible,

I know about standard period Control 8 which gives start date of follwing year 1 st day,

my concern is how that control works, is there some table which controls the further settings for period control. please share your knowledge.
